O, God, help us to come closer to you in sincerity and truth; Strengthen and increase our admiration for honest dealing and clean thinking. Grant us the courage that is born of loyalty to all that is noble and worthy; that does not compromise with evil and injustice; that knows no fear when truth and right are in danger. And grant us new ties of friendship and new opportunities of service to the motherland.

We pray for your blessings this day, O God, so that we may go ahead to serve all the day long faithfully, humbly and virtuously. Grant that we may be set free from fear of evil, and may spend the day without dishonor to ourselves, our school and our country, and when evening comes, we may lie down in peace and contentment for having performed our tasks with sincerity, honesty and with devotion.

O God, give us clean hands, clean words and clean thoughts. Help us to stand for the hard right against the easy wrong. Save us from habits that harm, teach us to work as hard and act as fair as it all the world is watching us. Make us kind to the others and help us to forgive those who are unkind to us. Keep us ready to help others even at some cost to ourselves and give us chance to do some good every day.

Help us, O God, to act and behave this day like a person should; help us to do our duties with happy and kind faces; let cheerfulness accompany hard work. Let us work all this day with energy and enthusiasm so that we may retire at the end of the day fully satisfied that we have performed our tasks with honor and with sincerity.

Eternal God, grant us a vision of our country, fair as she might be; a land of justice, where none shall exploit others; a land of plenty, where vice and poverty shall cease to exist; a land of brotherhood, where all success shall be founded on service, and honor given to the nobleness alone; a land of peace, where order shall not rest on force, but on the love of all for the country.

God, endow us with faith, purity of soul and feeling. Teach us to live in unity and for all; our creed may be to help others and our foremost duty to serve. Turn us, O God, into spirited and good servants of humanity. We may be filled with the ideal of devoting our lives to the nation. We may live and die for the service of our motherland.
